ABOUT
I love painting in oils because it can be simultaneously a slow, meditative process, while carrying such energy of emotion in the strokes of the brush. I wish to convert on the canvas a love of that which makes us all feel connected to where we live, places we visit, and the familiar objects in our everyday lives. There is no end of subject matter here. Currently, I am also an artist in Tioga Arts Council’s inaugural Arts Incubator Program called: The Walk Up Gallery & Studio Space. With the support of two other artists, we let new, artistic ideas synergize and take flight in this space.
