Endowment Overview
To honor the contributions of those who came before us and to provide opportunities for those who will be a part of TAC tomorrow, the Board of Directors unanimously agreed to spearhead an endowment with the Community Foundation for South Central New York (CFSCNY).
Called simply “Tioga Arts Council – Fund,” this is a designated, endowment fund that will be managed by CFSCNY. Interest from the principle of this fund will be used to finance operations, projects, programs, and facilities management supporting TAC.
This is a seed; the beginning of a new chapter for TAC. In the short-term, the returns will be small. We will still need people to join TAC, to donate, and to sponsor. However, this endeavor is about investment; the long-term. The endowment fund aims to grow over time. This important financial step will be integral to TAC's sustainability in the years to come.
Our Strategic Goal for the TAC Fund is to raise $50,000 in five years. In addition to donations, financial support can take the forms of:

3. Leave a legacy. If you already have a will, a quick call to your attorney is all you will need to add a charitable gift to TAC.
