Description

Unleashing Creative Freedom is a workshop that focuses on exploring and experimenting with working on paper in all its forms, from automatic and expressive drawing, to mark making and building collage papers that utilize alternative papers we will explore what’s possible and have fun in the process!

The final project is to complete a small series of small expressive works on paper.

Two day instruction over two Saturdays of 4 hours of class time will allow for play, experimentation, exploration.

We will talk about the automatic and intuitive process. Get comfortable with opening up the body and thinking and feeling into our emotional states and make many experiments and explorations along the way.

If you are looking to loosen up, break free from things that may be holding you back, uncover more of who you are and think about the process in a more intuitive way, this class is a great start to get you moving towards creating more freedom in your art practice.

Instruction is for any level, as this two day experential and exploratory workshop builds slowly over time giving you a foundation and understanding of my process of creating layered and colorful works on paper.

*Materials Are Included in Registration Cost - yet you are encouraged to bring any papers, or your favorite supplies that you would want to use, if you know you LOVE working with something specifically.
