ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a photographer from Warren Center, Pennsylvania who is currently based in Syracuse, New York. I’ve had a camera by my side for at least 10 years. In 2016, I started documenting the music world around me. All of the frames in this gallery were thrifted at various Salvation Army’s, Thrifty Shoppers, and Goodwills in the area. The frames aren’t perfect but they were handpicked and hand painted white for consistency. Each photo included in the gallery was taken throughout various cities, mostly in New York, in the past few years. I take photos of various music genres and always edit in both black and white and in color, so my goal was to have a diverse group that best represents me and my work.
.
I just hope to consistently document the music in the area through unique compositions, whether it is in my hometown or on tour with a band.
